Polish festival in London

We spent this Bank Hols Sunday going to the Days of Poland festival in London by Tower Bridge / Southwark – lots of Polish flags (I really wanted to get a flag painted on my cheek) , Polska t-shirts, tons of amazing Morliny sausages / hot dogs (over a foot long!), bigos, pierogi, tasty Zywiec beer (with obligatory raspberry juice), and yummy pancakes. There were other stalls too but there was only so much queuing we could do 🙂 Yes we were well fed by the end of the afternoon tho!

See some photos below (we were a bit busy eating to take many photos). There were lots of folk bands of different ages singing and dancing all afternoon, which was lovely to see, but it was the Lombard band who the crowd were really exciting about seeing! Lots of cheering, dancing and singing along. A super fun day and we will add this to our calendar for next year! And next year we will be wearing our Polska t-shirts!

Did you go? Let us know and post your photos below 🙂
