Polish train photos for the trainspotters

Seeing as we spend a lot of our journey to Poland on the trains, here’s some photos of the lovely Polish trains for the trainspotters out there 🙂

The trains in Poland might be a tad slow (it shouldn’t really take 2.5hrs between Warsaw and Lublin 🙂 ) but they are comfortable – especially when you go off peak and in 1st class and enjoy the old fashioned compartments … where you can chill out and relax.

We’re also very impressed with the new fast suburban trains between Warsaw and the Okecie airport (LOT, BA flights) and the new Modlin airport (Wizzair, Ryanair, Easyjet) – try them out on your next trip, a very fast way of getting straight to the airport (and only 5 zloty – just over £1 – for the ticket).

If you want to look at train times – here’s the PKP website where you can check all the train timetables in Polandhttp://rozklad-pkp.pl/bin/query.exe/en?.
